Reclaiming Connection in the LGBTQIA+ Community
At Get Out, we believe in the power of community to combat the challenges facing LGBTQIA+ individuals today. With alarming rates of drug use, mental health struggles, and a suicide rate significantly higher than that of the general population, the need for deeper, more meaningful connections has never been more urgent.
Research consistently shows that LGBTQIA+ individuals face unique pressures and higher instances of psychological distress. The data is clear: we are stronger together.
Our platform is designed to bring people together, creating a sense of belonging and mutual support through shared passions and activities. From sports teams and social groups to wellness events and creative circles, Get Out provides spaces — both online and in-person — where everyone can feel seen, valued, and connected.
By cultivating these spaces, we aim to tackle loneliness, reduce isolation, and promote well-being. Join us in our mission to build a stronger, more resilient LGBTQIA+ community — where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

We offer a variety of group activities, including fitness sessions, book clubs, wellness classes, and community events. Our aim is to help people connect over shared interests and build a sense of belonging.

By fostering connections and reducing isolation, we tackle the root causes of loneliness and its impact on mental health. Our community-driven approach offers members a safe space for support and social interaction before things reach crisis point. Get Out is not a counselling service and will always refer to the appropriate organisations when it feels that its members are at risk or in danger.

Our platform is open to everyone within the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as its allies. Whether you're looking to make friends, pursue hobbies, or find support, there's a place for you at Get Out.
